Tecnvolt Engenharia is a Brazilian electrical testing and diagnostics company, in business since 2012, currently in transition to establish operations in Houston, Texas. We specialize in condition assessment of medium voltage underground cable systems using VLF withstand testing, Tan Delta (dissipation factor) diagnostics and Partial Discharge testing, performed in accordance with IEEE 400.2-2024 and ANSI/NETA MTS standards.
Cable diagnostic services (planned for the Houston region)
- VLF Withstand Testing — very low frequency AC testing of XLPE and EPR cables per IEEE 400.2
- Tan Delta / Dissipation Factor Assessment — insulation condition diagnosis, water tree detection and aging evaluation
